Nantahala Gorge excursion eastbound, returning to Bryson City

GSMR 1751 shows off its brand new paint scheme leading a westbound Nantahala Gorge excursion on a dreary April morning.

As heavy rains from Tropical Depression 'Nate' douse the area, GSMR 1702 hammers uphill from Bryson City on slick rails with an excursion bound for the Nantahala Gorge.

GSMR Nantahala Gorge excursion train is just out of Bryson City, headed west on the former Southern Railway Murphy Branch.
